FAQs
What is rapid prototyping?
Rapid prototyping refers to the fabrication of a part using computer aided design, also known as CAD. CAD produces a 3D model of a part, which is then created using additive manufacturing, or 3D printing, once the design has been approved.
This is a quick way of producing a preliminary version of a part prior to the manufacturing of the final product version.
